LinkedIn

Professional social network LinkedIn, which recently went public, received 33.9 million unique visitors in June, an all-time high for the site. This put it above Myspace’s 33.5 million. This makes LinkedIn the new number two social network in the U.S. and it continues to grow while Myspace, and its new owners, try to find a way to revive the site.

Twitter is quickly gaining on Myspace as well, which is impressive considering most of Twitter’s users use a client to access the site, but Twitter saw 30.6 million unique visitors, also an all-time high. Following the pattern, Facebook also recording an all-time high of 160.8 million unique visitors in the U.S. in June, as well as crossing the 750 million user mark. So, Twitter is close to surpassing Myspace, LinkedIn already passed it, but none of them are even close to touching Facebook yet.
